Habrá camiones de comida, panadería española, banda de mariachis, algunos obsequios gratuitos y pintura facial para los niños.

As we listen to the reports on the news about the transit system in Charlotte overpaying by $14 million receiving less armed security guards, we've had recently a murder of a young woman who left the Ukraine to come here for a safer and better life, there have been at least 10 other incidents on the light rail cat system from groping not paying for tickets and things like this. And the state is now auditing our transit system and this shaking their head in disgust. Five monthd ago I mailed a check to a vendor. The vendor came to me, and stated he had not received his check. So I went into my QuickBooks register and the bank online and found out. In fact, yes the check was cashed and he said he never received it. So I brought up a digital image only to find out that someone had floated his name off the check and put their name on it and cashed it by using the cell phone deposit method. This check was for $900. I reported it to the bank now going to the headache of changing accounts, ordering new checks, notifying vendors and others not to to use that to call me and I will give them the new account numbers. Reported it to the Charlotte Mecklenburg police over a month ago. Young gentleman took all the information said I will send you a police report with the detective's name on it, and I have yet to hear from the police department. Now in North Carolina Grand larceny is over $1,000. This was $900, so it's only a larceny case, however, the check was stolen from the mailbox. That's a federal offense right, and then altering the check is fraud. Now. I realize that the police have a lot on their hands. There's been numerous murders and other major crimes but damn at least give me a police cadet to talk to. No one is doing anything. Yet. They want to keep raising taxes for less and less services. It's time that the city and county government we empty the swamp and bring people in that actually care about this city instead of being self-serving Mary lyles. You're running for your fifth term. Nothing personal. I hope you don't win. You have taken this city down a very dark path with no lights in sight. I am totally disgusted and almost ashamed to say I live in Charlotte

Remember all the innocent souls, first responders, and average citizens that all raised into a living hell to help save people. The first responders FDNY, NYPD, Transit Police did not run from the scene. They ran into the buildings. Praying each step they took that they would find someone to help get them out, that they would get home that night to see their families. Little did they know each step brought them closer to the end. Here we are 24 years later and out of the ashes of The majestic world trade centers stand the freedom towers celebrating the lives of those lost as well as the fortitude of the American people.
