Our Story
In 2011, Rachel graduated from massage school with a license and a mission: build a company that offered an alternative to membership-based spa models. As a former employee at a franchise spa, she was the first line of customer service and had found herself defending, over and over, policies and practices she actually felt were underhanded. Massage was supposed to be a therapeutic experience, but these people were upset and felt manipulated.
The perfect spa, she thought, wouldn’t need auto-drafts or complex memberships. It would offer actual 60, 90, and 120 minute sessions - no more “spa hours” that were really only 50 minutes. It would have customization options other clinics didn’t have time to allow for. It would be small, and personable, and accountable to it’s clients, rather than an out-of-town investment group. Most of all, it would offer treatment plans built on individual goals rather than a sales quota.
A Charlotte native, she opened her first spa inside a nail salon and began building her dream. Three moves, 7 years, and 7 staff members later, we’ve grown into one of Charlotte’s top-rated spas, with hundreds of 5-star reviews on Google, Yelp, Facebook, and Frederick.
