A kid from Bertie County, now standing at the United Nations.

Proof that our beginnings don’t limit our becoming. Today, I carry my community with me into global conversations on mental health at the United Nations High-Level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases and the Promotion of Mental Health holding it down for the + collective.
