💭 Who should get a skin check?
Everyone should consider routine skin checks, but they’re especially important for individuals with lighter skin complexions, a history of significant sun exposure or sun damage or a family history of skin cancer. In these cases, at least a yearly check is often recommended.

💭 How often should I get a skin check?
It depends on your personal and family history. Skin checks can range anywhere from every 3 months to once a year — your dermatologist can recommend the schedule that’s best for you.

💭 Where do people forget to check?
Some commonly overlooked areas include:
- Under the nails (especially when pigment changes appear)
- The feet
- The scalp

Small areas can be easy to miss, which is why professional skin exams matter. As always, consult your dermatologist for personalized recommendations.
