What a transformation with this Alden prosthetic contact lens!

This patient had a dense corneal scar for many years and was looking for a solution to create a better cosmetic balance between his eyes. Dr. Krisa fit him with a perfect match to create a more symmetric appearance between eyes. 

Other more “custom” options are available as well for a more specific “copy” of the right eye with painted designs if the patient wanted to pursue that option as well, however this lens fit his requirements and looked great in different lighting and backgrounds.

These are larger gas permeable hard lenses that help correct vision in irregular eyes and can be used as a therapeutic device for treating severe dry eyes!
