Our Wellness Seated Upper Body are always a great success, our wellness team helps Members focus on strengthening and improving the body through guided movements using free weights. There are various circuits where Members are guided through a series of low-impact movements with weights in hand. These types of movements help support muscle growth, improved flexibility, and ensure that our Members live longer, healthier, and happier lives. 💙 🤍 💚

Hut Hut, HIKE! 🏈

We're kicking off this NFL season with a quick and easy tailgate recipe that'll be sure to make you cheer, no matter which team you're rooting for! Our Members are some of the most passionate fans, and our dining services teams know how to help them throw the best watch parties. This pork carnitas torta recipe is a fan favorite at The Charlotte, and we're here to share it with you to create at your next tailgate! So join our Members, grab a friend, huddle around the big screen, and enjoy this must-have snack for game day!

Here's how to make it at home! 👇
🌟 Carnitas:
- Cut 3–3.5 lbs pork shoulder into chunks, dry brine w/ 4 tsp kosher salt (1 hr)
- Melt 3 lbs lard in a medium heat pot, add pork. Cook 20 mins each side (250°F).
- Add: 1 onion, 5 garlic cloves, 1 tsp cumin, 2 tsp Mexican oregano, ½ tsp black pepper, 5 whole cloves, 2 bay leaves, juice + peel of 1 orange, ½ cup water.
- Simmer at 200–220°F for 1.5 hrs. Add 6 oz Mexican Coke, cook 20 mins.
- Remove & cool.

🥪 Torta:
- Toast 2 bolillo rolls.
- Spread refried beans on one side, mayo on the other.
- Fill with 1½ cups shredded carnitas, iceberg lettuce, tomato, onion & jalapeños.

Each month, our executive dining team collaborates with our social director to create a unique dining experience for our Members, known as the Chef's Table. 🧑‍🍳 ✨ This event features a five-course dinner, with each course showcasing our chef's skills and perfectly paired with a complementary wine. Guests can often spot a common theme on the menu, whether it focuses on a specific country or highlights a single ingredient in each course. This thematic approach allows for a comprehensive culinary exploration throughout the evening. We take great pleasure in providing these exceptional experiences to our Members and guests in the comfort of their homes. 🏡 🥂
