A therapist and life coach can offer consulting services. A consultant can provide life coaching services. A coach and consultant cannot offer counseling.

✨ Similar to a counselor, a consultant can receive formal training as a life coach or obtain relevant certifications in coaching methodologies. This allows them to support clients beyond just providing expert advice.

✨ They provide their insights, analysis, and recommendations based on their specialized skills and experience.

At 3C, we partner with the following Mental Health & Substance Abuse Counselors:

They each have different licensing boards, require Master Degrees, with strict supervised provisional licensing periods, continuing ed requirements, and passing a rigorous exam prior to being an Independent Mental Health Clinician.

"Self-awareness is the ability to focus on yourself and how your actions, thoughts, or emotions do or don't align with your internal standards."

Tips to become more self-aware:
1. Be mindful of your self-talk; How are you speaking about yourself? If it is negative, try practicing positive affirmations daily.
2. Journaling: journal how you see yourself, journal how you think others perceive you, journal patterns you notice about yourself, and write out your personal values and things you are good at.
3. Listen to your body:Notice the physical cues of the emotions you hold in your body. Example: Do you clench your teeth when you are anxious? Notice the feelings of butterflies you may get when you are nervous. Being aware of the physical signs of how you are feeling can help you to gain better insight into things that make you uncomfortable, things you do or don't like, and things you may need to process in therapy.

🌿 SELF-CARE - WAYS TO GROW WHERE PLANTED 🌿

1. Invest in your health. Work out; go to your doctors appointments; learn about ingredients in your food; explore natural remedies. When you invest in your health, you are investing in yourself.

2. Incorporate a realistic routine: Creating predictability in your day in your schedule can help you feel more in control and feel like you accomplished something . This can be especially true if you find yourself struggling with concentration or feeling overwhelmed by managing many tasks.

3. Prioritize Rest & Recharge: Listen to your body and respect it. Sometimes mentally we think we can, while our body is struggling to keep up. A way to honor your body for all it does for you is by giving it some time to rest and recover.

4. Adopt a growth mindset! Try looking at challenges as opportunities for growth and improvement. Embrace new challenges, learn from mistakes, and allow growth to influence your thoughts, feelings, and actions.

5. Visit your values and prioritize them: Reflect on what is important to you, and allow your actions to follow. If you notice your actions do not match with what is important to you, it is time to re-organize your priorities.

6. Seek professional help when you need it: Seeking professional help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Discomfort, challenges, and barriers is part of the growth process. There is no "bumpless" road to success and happiness. You deserve to live a happy, healthy life and to achieve that, sometimes you need help.

7. Connect with others: Whether it's through a shared hobby, a common interest, or a fun night out, surrounding yourself with good company will help with happiness.

8. Limit screen time and read: Put down the phone and pick up a book... or just do something else that will spark creativity and give your body a break from the screen. Taking a break from screens can do wonders for your mental health and focus.
