Sharing to help "save the date" for next month's event in Fort Mill, SC!

Please take some time to clean out your medicine cabinets and safely dispose of unused or unwanted medications at our National Drug Take Back Event on October 25th!
Keeping your current medications locked up and out of the reach of children is a great way to protect your family from accidental overdose.

Did you know that Piedmont Music Therapy is one of the options on the South Carolina Arts Commission Directory for Creative Arts Therapy? We are thrilled to share the following post from SCAC, tuned for local educators in South Carolina. Keep us in mind when considering professional development workshops, or creative arts therapy services needed to address student outcomes!

DYK that our rolling School Arts Support grant is open and accepting applications!?! 🎨

If you need or want supplies, materials, professional development, an artist residency, or creative arts therapy to supplement the arts in your classroom, these are the grants for you!

Applications must be submitted at least five weeks before the activity begins/purchases are made. Final deadline is Feb. 17, 2026

Limited spaces remain for the FREE Community Grooves Culture Blocks programs approaching at Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Marion Recreation Center for adolescents (ages 12+ years) and young children with guardians at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Steele Creek. Registrants will be invited to explore songs & instruments in connection with how music can help express & manage emotions per age groups. No prior musical experience required, and instruments will be available for all attendees.

Facilitated by a member of our staff, these 60-minute classes will explore the intersection of music & health!
