Meet Dr. Kylie Rabe!!!
Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Dr. Kylie has been working towards her dream of becoming a chiropractor since she was in 8th grade. While in high school, she juggled playing 4 sports and completed the first year of her undergraduate degree by taking advanced courses all behind the support of her parents and younger brother. From here, she attended Des Moines Area Community College, where she played softball and was named to the Academic All-American Team. She then transferred to Grandview University where she was awarded the prestigious Presidential Transfer Scholarship for her GPA. Dr. Kylie finally made the move to Davenport, IA where she spent the next 3 and 1/3 years completing her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Palmer College.
From the time she started her first trimester at Palmer, she held a class officer position and was involved in several community services projects put on by the school. Dr. Kylie took several elective courses including Advanced Soft Tissue and Motion Palpation Institute courses that focused on the Rehabilitation Treatment of the athletic population of all levels and advanced courses in Pregnancy and Pediatrics. Through her time in the clinic system at Palmer, Dr. Kylie showed advanced skills in patient education and treatment which granted her the extreme honor of being selected as a Clinical Excellence nominee with a select few other students in her class. Upon graduation, Dr. Kylie chose to take a job in the beautiful Charlotte area, drawn to the Great Smoky Mountains and the proximity of the Atlantic Coast. With her love of community and wellness, Dr. Kylie hopes to help those in the Greater Charlotte area receive proper treatment for a variety of conditions while also being a source of support and someone to look towards for advice within the health care field. With her background in athletics, she has a vast knowledge of injuries and preventative measures for athletes of all ages and skill level. She uses a wide variety of procedures and techniques all geared toward patient specific care. These include: spinal and extremity adjustments, myofascial release, low-tech rehabilitation exercises, and end range loading movements.
โIn her free time she loves to spend time outside with close friends and is always looking for a great hike; and you will catch her singing along with the radio the entire drive. Dr. Kylie also loves oil painting and cooking healthy recipes she finds on Pinterest and Facebook. She looks forward to continue serving the Greater Charlotte community and meeting your family!
