We're looking for youth, ages 18 and under to design an original t-shirt that will reflect the NAMI Mission:

Guided by the experiences of those living with mental health conditions and rooted in equity, NAMI Charlotte provides advocacy, education, support and connections to resources so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build healthier lives.

Design Guidelines:
Width: Up to 11 inches
Height: 8-14 Inches

Charlotte Film Festival starts tomorrow!

This is the 17th installment and the fourth year it will be held at The Independent Picture House. Over 130 films from September 23 - 28 with more than 80 filmmakers visiting the Queen City to talk about their works. There are some films throughout the Festival that focus on mental health. These include:

๐ŸŽฅ GO is a short, narrative, sports action drama that addresses overcoming past trauma through wrestling, personal growth, and the love and support of the community.

๐ŸŽฅ Life Support is inspired by true stories, an emergency doctor struggling under the weight of life-and-death decisions must confront his own hidden traumas as he teaches a young medical student what it truly means to save a life.

๐ŸŽฅ To Charlie, From Kamryn: a heartfelt short film based on a true story, told through the shifting lens of childhood memory and adult reflection.
