Just a reminder that the office will be closed Thursday afternoon August 28, 2025 for CPR recertification and for the Labor Day Weekend. We will reopen on Tuesday September 2nd. As always we will have our doctors on call for emergencies only. Please call the office and follow the instructions if you are a patient of record and have emergency need of care.

All, here are the details on Kearney’s funeral service:

- Will be held on Monday, Aug 4th at Green Hills Cemetary located at 25 New Leicester Highway Asheville NC 28806.
- Will start at 1:00 PM. Recommend showing up 15 min prior to start (12:45)
- Event will be a green/natural burial.
- Weather forecast currently 76 High with slight chance of rain. Recommend umbrella as there will not be an awning. Also will be held on a slight slope so be mindful of shoes.
- There will be folks directing parking for the service.
- There will be an opportunity for stories and memories for anyone that would like to speak after Pastor opens up the service.
- While flowers are an option, they would need to be delivered to Asheville Area Alternative (702 Riverside Dr Asheville NC 28801). Would need to ensure flowers arrive no later than 11:00 AM on Monday (but also can’t deliver on weekend). Instead of flowers, family recommends considering a donation to the American Kidney Foundation to continue Kearney’s passion to help others as she did by being a live organ donor in 2022.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved longtime hygienist,Kearney Murphy,57. Kearney fought hard but lost her battle with cancer on July 29,2025. Kearney was a loyal hygienist at our practice for over 15 years. She was known for her gentle touch but thorough cleanings. She had the ability to put her patients at ease with her kindness and sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by our staff as a co-worker but foremost, as a team player and friend. Kearney is survived by her husband ,Joel “Mike” and their fur babies, Polly and Birdie.
