Endometriosis affects an estimated 1 in 10 women of reproductive age—causing chronic pain, fatigue, and infertility.

A recent case has opened new possibilities for symptom relief using Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), a procedure traditionally used for fibroid treatment. This minimally invasive technique may also reduce abnormal bleeding and pelvic pain associated with endometriosis.

Board-certified interventional radiologists from Mecklenburg Radiology perform UFE at partner hospitals, expanding access to non-surgical treatment options.
