Triggers are our teachers. Triggers are a gift.
When you have been triggered by another, there is a great gift being offered.
This is an opportunity to go within yourself to see where there is a need for attention, healing, compassion, and love for yourself. No one else is responsible for this healing except you.
*This is not always easy and it’s actually very difficult at times.
When you have inadvertently triggered another, (not on purpose to hurt them), you have offered them a great gift. And you are not responsible for healing their wounds.
Each person is ultimately responsible for their own triggers.
No one else can do this healing for you.
Nor can you do this healing for another.
We should not tip toe around each others’ triggers, although we can be consciously aware, empathetic, and compassionate for others’ wounding, especially within relationships.
We can learn to heal these deep relational wounds together within relationships, but ultimately each person is responsible for Self.
We often did not create our own wounding, especially our childhood wounding.
However, we are 100% responsible for healing our wounds and not projecting them onto others or unconsciously recreating these situations in life.
And I can tell you that if you are not doing the EMOTIONAL work, meaning FEELING the mounds of repressed emotions that live in your body + nervous system and that are driving your unconscious fears, behaviors, and reactions, you are missing a KEY component of healing.
There is FREEDOM on the other side of the “mud,” but we cannot run through the mud. We have to FEEL our way through it.
Join me and other Somatic Hypno-Breathwork facilitators on Sunday 7/27 LIVE in Charlotte, NC to heal some deep emotional wounds and to tap into FREEDOM.
