Would suit experienced stay at home parent looking to jump back in to clinical care. Therapist run company, cash only, 14 years in business. PRN with enormous flexibility. “I recently underwent full knee replacement surgery. My long time Physical Therapist does not do at home PT since I live 36 miles from Charlotte, I needed someone to come to the house in the immediate weeks after surgery. She put me in touch with Alison Starkey PT at Gaitway of Charlotte who she knew from working together many years before.

Alison was exactly the right choice ! Alison has decades of experience. I much prefer a provider who has seen the gamut, versus a newly minted therapist. As well, I never felt she was rushed to get to the next appointment even though she had to make a long drive to our house. Being an old guy, I didn’t care much about how my scar looked but she practically made it disappear. The improvement in range of motion because of her scar treatment was noticeable. Alison also uses a taping method to reduce bruising which was darn near magic.

Gaitway also doesn’t require all the normal insurance stuff. It’s pay as you go. Having been to “ PT mills” before, attached to medical or hospital practices, the amount of “hands on” time was great and finally, Alison is a warm, engaging person. It's nice to make a new friend”

Seeking experienced PRN PT or PTA for NORTH Charlotte. Candidates MUST have at least 10 years experience in a variety of settings, home health or acute care experience is required.
