Feeling the Sunday scaries? Slow down, your brain is doing too much.

If your brain is already thinking about what’s going to happen on Wednesday morning, pull it back to Sunday.

Write down everything you’re worried about.
Don’t organize it, just get it out of your head.

Pick one small Monday task to knock out first. Not your whole to-do list, just something to get you started. Answer one email or set out your outfit for the day.

Do something to help your body rest and feel grounded. This could be taking a shower, gently moving your body, or watching a favorite show.

Give yourself something small to look forward to at the start of the week. Maybe you’ll leave a little early tomorrow to get coffee, or find a new playlist for your morning commute.

Thinking about starting therapy? You don’t have to have it all figured out—just a willingness to start. Here are some common therapy myths (especially for first timers).

“I have to be really struggling to go to therapy.”
Truth: Therapy isn’t just for crisis mode. It’s for stress, transitions, burnout, relationship stuff, and the “I feel off but can’t explain it” phase.

“My problems aren’t bad enough.”
Truth: If it’s affecting your peace, your sleep, or your relationships—it’s valid. Pain isn’t a competition.

“My therapist will tell me what to do.”
Truth: Therapy isn’t advice-giving or fixing you. It’s collaborative. You’re the expert on your life—we help you make sense of it.

“Therapy will change who I am.”
Truth: Therapy helps you become more you, not someone else.

“I should know what to say.”
Truth: “I don’t know where to start” is actually a perfect place to start.

8. “If it doesn’t help immediately, it’s not working.”
Truth: Growth isn’t linear. Feeling uncomfortable sometimes means you’re doing meaningful work.

9. “My therapist is judging me.”
Truth: Therapists are trained to be curious, not critical. You don’t have to impress us.
