IF * you want a posture that feels like a mini spa day for your spine, this is it.
Supported Bridge with a block under the sacrum melts away tension in the low back, opens the hips, and offers a gentle heart opener. Depending on how you position your legs and arms, you can choose more of a hip extension or a chest-opening effect.
🤟Benefits:
* Relieves tension in the lower back
* Opens the front body and improves posture
* Gently stretches the hip flexors and quads
* Calms the nervous system for deep relaxation
How to do it:
1. Lie down on your back with your knees bent and feet hip-width apart.
2. Lift your hips and slide a yoga block under your sacrum (not the lower back).
3. Choose your variation:
❤️For hip extension: straighten your legs and let the front body stretch.
❤️For a heart opener: keep knees bent and bring arms overhead for a gentle chest stretch.
4. Keep your shoulders relaxed and let the body fully drape over the block.
5. Stay here for 1–3 minutes, breathing deeply.
Tip: If you have any lower back sensitivity, keep your knees bent instead of straightening your legs — it’s still just as delicious without strain.
Your body will thank you for this one.
