Dear guests and community members, please share with your families that on October 22nd, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Redwood Health and Rehab, in collaboration with Sherwood Health and Rehab, and our community partners, Gentiva Hospice and Adoration Home Health, will be hosting our first annual joint Trunk or Treat event. The event will be held in the parking lot of Redwood Health and Rehab, located at 5939 Reddman Rd, Charlotte NC 28212. We invite you to wear your finest costumes and enjoy the opportunity to collect treats and prizes. Those interested in contributing candy to the event are welcome to contact our Activity Directors at either facility. We look forward to your participation.

Ms. Nirva Dessalines, PMHNP-BC, our esteemed Director of Nursing for six years, has made a significant contribution to the well-being of our residents and staff, and her departure will be keenly felt. She is held in high regard by all. Today, at Redwood Health and Rehab, current and former staff members have assembled to honor her and the positive influence she has had. In July 2025, Ms. Dessalines demonstrated that aspirations can be achieved even under challenging circumstances, fulfilling her goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Her unwavering commitment to this facility has been exemplary, and we are exceedingly proud of her. Ms. Dessalines is deserving of the highest commendation as she embarks on the next stage of her professional journey. We are confident that she will excel as a Nurse Practitioner.
