Craig knew how to make people laugh. His life partner, Mary Ellen, said he was devoted and fiercely loyal to his loved ones. She also shared how smart he was and that he was a proud small business owner.

Craig didn’t let his blindness “cramp his style,” according to Mary Ellen. He loved Star Trek, history, going to the shooting range, and all kinds of music.

We were happy to return for our second annual flag raising at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist! Teammates heard from Melissa, who is the mother to Ryder, an organ and eye donor. She talked her son's personality and how he would be so happy to know he saved and healed many lives 💚💙

Cynthia had a contagious laugh. Her daughter, Rani, told us how her mother’s imagination was always active even during hard times. She said her mom was able to overcome challenges through a determination to conquer every obstacle placed in her path.

In her spare time, Cynthia painted, drew, wrote poetry, and restored furniture. She had a strong love for children and animals. Cynthia saved 3 lives through organ donation and also donated 2 of her organs for important medical research.
