💔 Yesterday afternoon, a tragic car accident occurred on Beatties Ford Rd. in front of the Power House Drop-In Center. Our hearts aches for the family of the young man who lost his life—he was a dedicated missionary for The Church of Latter-day Saints, and we can't even begin to imagine the pain they’re feeling right now.
We are also deeply proud of our Prevention Director, Craymon Garner, who did everything in his power to help, including performing CPR in a desperate attempt to save him. In times like this, we are reminded of the importance of community and compassion at Quality Comprehensive Health Center and The PowerHouse 2.0. Today our drop-in center will be CLOSED and will re-open Monday at 9am.

Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

Quality Comprehensive Health Center celebrated Friday, February 7, with the grand opening of Powerhouse 2.0 Next Generation at its new location at 1401 Beatties Ford Road, right next door to the School of the Arts.

Recognized as one of the leading hubs for HIV, STD and STI awareness, it's located just a couple of blocks away from Quality's central facility.

The event kicked off at 3:00 p.m. and continued through 7:00 p.m. welcoming a sizable crowd that included staff, clients and community stakeholders who noshed on light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments while experiencing VIP tours of the new space, which is estimated to be around 2,200 square feet.
