Remember Faith? She’s our 12 year old Shih Tzu that was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 11/2024. At the time of diagnosis, Faith’s family was told she likely would only survive a few months. We’re happy to say she is nearly 1 year out from diagnosis with the help of acupuncture, prednisone and herbal remedies. Go Faith ! 🤩

This stunning shepherd is 6 month old Yulicka. She is. Currently recovering from a bout with parvovirus. She’s on road to recovery but her family is worried she is not picking up weight/filling as fast as they had hoped. They asked us to step in for some acupuncture treatment to balance her energy and support her recovery ❤️‍🩹

Remember Ilsa? She’s our 9 year old German Shepherd that has been recovering from
a severe infection in her spinal column since June. Once completely paralyzed, she’s now walking and even running independently. She’s still got some residual ataxia or wobbliness but we’re so proud of how far she’s come 🥰

Cutie patootie alert ‼️ Meet Daisy, a 10 1/2 year old Beagle x. Poor Daisy has multi focal arthritis but her lameness is worse on left front leg. Exam revealed stiff joints as well as a fair amount of soft tissue discomfort. Western pain meds help some but Daisy still struggles. Her family wanted to try adding in other modalities to her treatment plan to see if this playful pup can get some better pain relief

Say cheese 🧀! Say hello to Cali, a 13 year old White shepherd. Cali has been struggling with head tilt and trouble walking after a second bout of presumptive vestibular syndrome. Unfortunately after most recent episode, she’s not recovering or regaining function. Her family is considering a neuro evaluation but in meantime they wanted to start acupuncture to see if she could get some relief.

This little nugget of coal is Bailey, a 9 year old lab mix. Bailey tore his acl a few weeks ago after falling off the bed. Since the tear was partial, the decision was made to try medical management vs surgery. His mom thought adding in acupuncture, laser and possibly herbal remedies might help him recover faster. This soulful stare belongs to Stevie (as in Nicks). A 4 year old Bassett Hound. 2 weeks ago, Stevie started to be reluctant to jump onto couch. A few days later, she started to struggle to walk. She was taken to emergency clinic who diagnosed likely IVDD. Owners elected medical management before pursuit of MRI/surgery. She has already improved some with medications on board. Her family wanted to add in acupuncture and laser therapy to help her heal and hopefully avoid surgery.

Say hello to Phoenix, a 4 year old Golden. Phoenix has been struggling with urinary incontinence for the past 2 years since she was spayed. She’s been on a combination of western and eastern medications to try to combat this issue along with urinary tract infections but the incontinence persists. Phoenix is schedule for consultation with internal medicine specialist next month. In meantime, her family wanted to try acupuncture and other herbal remedies to try to improve her condition

This derpy dude is Forrest, a nearly 10 year old pibble. Forrest has been intermittently limping on right hind leg for past few months. Owners were unaware of any episodes when dog injured his leg. Exam revealed a sore iliopsoas muscle. This can manifest as discomfort in back, hip or flank. We’ll see how he does with acupuncture, laser, stretching exercises and possibly herbal remedies

This adorable munchkin in Beau, a 13 year old Yorkie. Beau is normally a very active dog, even in his senior years; his family noticed him getting a bit more stiff over past few months. After a vigorous hike 2 weeks ago, Beau was struggling to walk or move, particularly on right front leg. X-rays revealed significant arthritis in neck. Exam revealed signs of neurological deficits to right side of body as well as neck discomfort, both signs of disc issues in his neck. This black beauty is Abby, an almost 10 year old poodle. Abby injured her r acl in recent past. In preparation for surgery, her vets discovered she has early kidney issues and high blood pressure. Plan now is to manage her knee injury medically as surgery not currently an option.
