Dr. Farmer’s first week in Uganda has been nothing short of magical. Four days of clinics, one day of school outreaches, providing over 1500 toothbrushes to those on a pilgrimage….the adventure has just begun!

Dr. Hart, Jenny and Dr. Farmer were able to volunteer Saturday at the North Carolina Dental Society Foundation Mission of Mercy free clinic in Charlotte at CPCC. The clinic offers free dental care thanks to volunteers of dentists, hygienists, assistants, and community members. It was an excellent event and a fun way to serve the local community!

Dr. Farmer attended the Global Advisory Board meeting Wednesday in Chapel Hill. The discussion involved his upcoming Uganda trip as well as the 9 other current trips and 4-6 future sites that UNC’s Adams School of Dentistry offers. It’s a fun and exciting time to be involved with this global leading program!
