Eclipse Season, my friends! Buckle your seat belt (even if it’s on fire).

Have been noticing the shifts, clearly as I’ve personally uprooted my family, life, surroundings and replanted out West. I’ve observed many of us, of you, are expieriencing much the same perhaps in a different way.

And then, a dear friend reminded me:
It’s eclipse season! 😳😱

My personal favorite response? Go hide in a corner and cry. Lol!

But for real, eclipses are such a spectacular astrological excuse to take the deep dive and clear what needs to go!!

Funny story: I met this little butterfly today. Frayed wings he was positioned in the middle of my uphill path, clearly couldn’t fly, and unaware he was potentially in harm’s way. I know it sounds crazy, but I could fill his deep sadness. 💗

So I put my hand out and he began to climb, onto my fingers, up my arm, higher and higher all the way to my neck (it tickled!).

And then I gasped as he fell, and I just happened to put my hand right where he landed, before he hit the ground.

And you know what? He began slowly flapping his wings, like door hinges opening and closing. All of a sudden, as I silently encouraged, “Go on, buddy! Fly!!” He took off - frayed wings and all - and flew confidently into the trees. I swear I heard a faint, “Thank you, friend!”

Like the frayed-winged butterfly, we all have the chance to soar again!! What a beautiful gift.

Helmets off to my awesome big brother (who’s never on social media but deserves the kudos), guiding rafts for 30ish years. Such a good time, yet again. Never gets old. 🚣‍♂️

This was a Class IV (?)… who’s done higher? 😉 And… Who’s afraid of rushing water full of boulders with no seat belts?

Hang in there, my friends. Be still with your thoughts. Do fight for what you believe in. And remember… there is calm resolve after the storm - and that, though we have zero idea how long a storm this is, it is bringing up old sh** that NEEDS TO CLEAR.

The mountains remind me of all that they have seen in their birth… Many a global fever has broken, and we humans have consistently learned something intensely profound as a result.

Came home from France to this: handpicked flowers and herbs from our garden. Picked and arranged by none other than my hubby,

Not only that but he had cleaned the house and made dinner for us the same evening we got home after watching our youngest, Isabella, for 10 days straight while I celebrated Mary’s graduation from college in Europe. ‼️

Just wow.

I have looked my whole life for a selfless, loving, thoughtful, creative, protective partner who loves me and us unconditionally.

This balance and love is what we ALL deserve. This post is not about me or him, it’s about the heart. It’s about our hearts. And he reminds me every day what’s most important. That is LOVE.

Paris Days 1 and 2 et .

Never been to the very top of the Tower (thought I might die - vertigo) but alas, the view was spectacular. And left La Maison de la Radio et de la Musique teary-eyed and marveling at the acoustic splendor.
