To my lovely patients,

I hope you are all doing well! It comes with a heavy heart to inform you that I will be leaving the practice as of 4/4/2024. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know all of you over the last 4.5 years and feel honored to be chosen by you to participate in your healthcare. This decision has been a very difficult one to make, but necessary for my family at this time in our lives. I will be leaving behind the long hours of Family Medicine and limiting my practice to Dermatology. I have accepted a position with Dr. Darst, a longtime colleague and friend of Dr. Bauer’s, at Darst Dermatology. This office location is much closer to home allowing a better work/life balance with my parents, husband, and new baby.

I want to assure you that your treatment will continue as usual at Ballantyne Medical Associates. The entire team is committed to providing a seamless transition of your healthcare. However, if you would like your medical records transferred to another primary care office, at any time, you can do so by completing a BMA medical records release form and sending it to Alice Smrekar at our main office location.
