Friday January 9th
Happy Friday everyone. Just as a reminder, I will be at Ahlara Spa tomorrow from 12:00pm to 2:00pm giving my talk on Predictions for 2026. I you want to attend just call Ahlara at 704 662-0946 or you can just show up and pay at the door.

For today our Moon our Moon stays in the sign of Libra all day today. Libra is a sign that is ruled by Venus and so is all about love, peace and beauty. So do something today to feel more beautiful. Buy some new clothes or get a haircut or maybe have a massage. We may put a bit more attention into our appearance. This sign is one that loves luxury, so we tend to overspend a bit when the Moon is here. That may be buying yourself an expensive pair of shoes or maybe just going overboard at the grocery store. We want and crave beauty in our lives. You might redecorate your home in some way to make it more attractive. A good day to go to a museum or art show. What do you do to uplift your spirit? Thursday January 8th
Okay, it looks like there is enough interest in an astrology evening with me, to move forward. I am busy working on my Predictions for the New Year talk this weekend. But come Monday I will check my calendar and come up with a date for a time to pick my brain and ask your astrological questions. This should be fun.

For today the Moon stays in Virgo most of the day. Then around 7:00pm this evening it moves into Libra. So we transition from earth energies to air tones. But our day is still earth based. Virgo is a sign that is very precise. They do not go by ‘close enough’ because of that they can sometimes be a bit critical. Virgo will notice if the picture is hung wrong or your socks don’t match. They have exacting standards but that is a good thing. I don’t want a doctor that is fine with ‘close enough’. Employers want someone who gets it right the first time and that is Virgo. But this sign has to watch out because too often they can apply this standard to themselves and ask the impossible. We all make mistakes, but Virgo is especially hard on themselves when this happens. So when the Moon is here we can all be a bit harder on ourselves and others than needs be. Be sure to be as kind to yourself today as you are to other people. Because Virgo is so hard working you can get a tremendous amount of work done today. All those task we have been ignoring, get finished today. So a day in which we can work hard and accomplish much. Our Virgo Moon is active all day today. Best of all this Virgo earth energy is reacting beautifully with all the planets that are in Capricorn, as Cap is another earth sign. It is like amping up all that earth energy in the most positive way. As a matter of fact the Moon is not making one stressful aspect today and isn’t that a nice way to start the day? Virgo is a sign that is all about the body and so we have a chance today to be good to ourselves and take care of our health. It may be something small like getting your teeth cleaned at the dentist. But it may be something more important like finally getting an appointment with that certain specialist you have been trying to get in to see. You are also ready to make some post-holiday changes. Here is where you sign up at the local gym or maybe check out some kind of gentle stretch program. We take whatever steps are needed to make sure we are doing what we need to do to feel healthy and strong down the road. I love it.

Tuesday January 6th
We have a shifting Moon today. We begin our Tuesday with the Moon still in Leo. Then around 12:00pm the Moon does what it does best, and moves on and into the sign of Virgo. The energies change from fire tones into earth vibes. This Moon is going to be a nice blessing for all the earth signs (Ta**us, Virgo and Capricorn). Pisces may be feeling a bit stressed today as it is the sign opposite Virgo.

So we have a Leo morning and a Virgo afternoon and evening. As the Moon moves into this sign, we have an opportunity to put our ideals into practice. The earth energies will help us to organize and move forward. Virgo is very humble and so sometimes does not get the recognition it deserves. This is a sign of service. Virgo wants to be of service to those they love but also of service to the community and the world. Just be careful that it is true service and not servitude. The way you can tell the difference, is that higher service lifts us up and has us feeling good. Servitude has us feeling resentful and taken advantage of. This Moon provides an opportunity to give from the heart. So look around and you will see where you are needed. We dig down and get to work. Virgo is a very hard worker and we can get loads of stuff done today whether it is in our personal life or our professional life. We have a full Leo day ahead of us. Our Moon is bright and active and wants us to step forward and be seen. This is a very creative sign and so it is a nice time to work on any artistic projects you have going on. And even if you think you have zero artistic talent, you can just sign up for dance class or pottery because it sounds like fun. We want to explore the world and so you might make a reservation to fly somewhere you have never been before. You and your friends plan a nice evening out of get together to celebrate someone’s birthday. Sometimes we need to stop and remember to have fun and enjoy our life. Leo helps us do that. And don’t forget that Leo is super romantic. Your spouse or partner may surprise you today. They plan something special for your birthday or buy you a gift ‘just because’. Happy Sunday. Remember that although the Full Moon has peaked, we are still in Full Moon energies. We get more easily triggered under a Full Moon so take note. The Moon leaves the sign of Cancer today and moves into the sign of Leo. We shift from water energies into fire tones. All the fire signs (Aries, Leo & Sagittarius) will love it but Aquarius might not be as happy as this means the Moon is in the sign opposite their Sun.

When the Moon visits here, we become much more social. Leo loves people and so it is a good day to get out of the house and be your social group. Loe is a romantic sign, and so today you and your sweetheart might spend the day together. There might be some kind of grand gesture of love. Leo can be very dramatic. We go to the theater or movies. We imagine ourselves in some kind of leading role or saving the village from disaster. Children might tell you the story of how they almost fell and we saved from disaster at the last minute. Like I said – dramatic. We want to be seen and noticed. So if you are shy or tend to hide out in groups, today is the day in which you can be more involved and speak up. Happy Full Moon in Cancer! We kick off our Saturday with a Full Moon today. We get a Full Moon when the Sun and the Moon are in opposite signs and opposing each other. These two planets are in conflict. So we struggle to balance our inner feelings (the Moon) with our outer life (the Sun). It is a time when we are more able to release and let go that which we no longer want or what has outlived its usefulness. This works for attitudes as well as things. What pattern of thinking is holding you back? Today is the day to release the old and bring in the new.

Our Moon is in Cancer and the Sun is in Capricorn. Cancer is very emotional, loving and nurturing. But we have the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars, all in Capricorn. Lots of conflict. This Moon is going to oppose all that Capricorn energy. We may be more impulsive and quick to make decisions. Family comes up more. There might be decisions you need to make today that concern family issues. It is a good day to redecorate your home or buy a couple of new things to give your space a new look. Also a time to take a step back and evaluate your career. Are you happy? Does your work fulfill you? Friday January 2nd
Our morning begins with the Moon doing its thing and moving along out of the sign of Gemini and into the sign of Cancer. Once the Moon enters the sign of The Crab around 8:00am we shift from air energies into water tones. We all become just a bit more emotional when the Moon is in water. We are more sensitive both to what is said and what is unsaid. All the water signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces) will get the benefit of this new energy. Capricorn is the sign opposite and they may not be as happy. Cancer is all about home and family. Many times when the Moon is here we just want to stay home and hunker down. We tend to nest. A nice day to clean out closets or putter around trying a new recipe in the kitchen. Either family comes by to visit or we make plans to meet-up with family members down the road. If we are on the outs with any particular person, then today is a good day to mend fences. That sensitivity I was talking about translates into being more intuitive. You can just know something is wrong even if no one says anything. Intuition runs high under a water Moon. A good day for an astrology reading or deciding to learn to read cards. If you meditate, you will feel more connected today thanks to the Cancer vibes. But our feelings can get hurt pretty easily with this Moon, so be careful of jumping to conclusions. Thursday January 1st
Happy New Year! Well here we are at the beginning of a brand-new year. I am busy working on my Predictions for 2026 talk that I will be giving this month. 2026 is going to hold a lot of changes and new happenings. Each January I give my talk on what to expect in the New Year. At the end of the year it is always fun for me to take a look at see what I got right and what I missed. This year I will be giving my talk twice. Once will be on January 10th at Ahlara Spa in Mooresville. From 12:00pm to 2:00pm I will discuss what I see coming up for all of us. The first hour I go over politics and the economy. Then I talk about what I see happening in terms of geographical events and finish up with some celebrity predictions. Then on January 11th I will be giving the same talk at Heartlight Spiritual Center here in Charlotte. This talk will be from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The only difference is that the Ahlara talk is in-person only and the Heartlight talk will be live-streamed and recorded. So if you cannot attend in person you can watch from home. I always leave time for questions and it is great fun to see what comes up. You can look up details on my website. I will say that you can register at Ahlara or at Heartlight. There is so much I have to share!

We are all busy today with our resolutions and setting intentions for 2026. One of mine is to offer more classes and talks in the coming year. It is going to be a wild ride in 2026 and we can all use some help in navigating it the best way possible. So if there is a specific talk or class that you would like me to offer, let me know and I will see if I can put it on the calendar.

For today we have the Moon staying in the sign of Gemini all day. In addition, we have Mercury changing signs and going from Sagittarius into Capricorn. I love this as Capricorn is all about discipline and focus. So if one of your resolutions is about losing weight or exercising more, Capricorn will help you stay the course. Gemini is a restless sign and so they often like to get in the car and go out of town. A great sign for any kind of road trip. But be careful in the car, as I tend to see more police on the road when the Moon is here. This sign is all about extended family and so we might talk to sisters, brothers and all kinds of other relatives today that we do not usually interact with much at all. We are all excited and geared-up to make changes and create our vision for the coming year. A powerful time for ceremony and intention. Wednesday December 31st
Well here we are at the very last day of the year. Where did 2025 go? Tonight there will be fireworks as we celebrate the ending of one year and the beginning of a New Year. Our Moon is pretty busy today. It changes signs from Ta**us to Gemini around 8:30am this morning. We go from the calm earth tones of The Bull to the mutable energies of air. All the air signs (Gemini, Libra & Aquarius) will love it. Sagittarius may be a bit more cranky as they are opposite this Moon.

When the Moon visits this sign, we move into our minds more. Gemini is very smart and loves learning new things. But Gemini gets bored easily and so we may hop from one thing to the next today. This sign is busy and we may try and cram too many tasks into too little time. Watch your time management today as the day can get away from you pretty easily. But we also have an exciting day ahead as we explore new topics and try new things. We are on the computer more and the phone more and use all our tech toys more. A good day to plan for the New Year. Tuesday December 30th
The Moon stays in Ta**us all day today. But for the most part, Ta**us is in a good mood and that is always nice. This sign is very laid back – until it isn’t. Remember that The Bull is the symbol for Ta**us. They have a notoriously bad temper when pushed. It is like 95% percent calm and centered and then boom, the other 5% hits and you see a side of Ta**us that is usually hidden. You can only push The Bull so far. But this sign is very grounded and focused. There is a lot of staying power here, so be careful about what you say yes to today, and the commitments you make, as you may be dealing with them for some time to come. We want to be comfortable when the Moon is here, so your environment becomes more important. What is the temp set on? Is that shirt too scratchy? Is the cushion positioned just right? We want our surrounding to be exactly how we like it for maximum comfort. We work hard and them we want to kick back and relax. So have a great day and evening.
