There is a flat rate charge for each vaccine (price varies per vaccine) plus an administration fee. Payment is required at time of service. Some clients may meet eligibility criteria to receive state-supplied vaccine at no cost to them.
Payment for vaccines can be Private pay, Medicaid, or private insurance (BC/BS & Cigna only).

We will not file insurance or Medicaid for walk-in physicals. Payment is expected at time of service. We accept checks, cash, money orders, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.

Service is provided regardless of county of residence.

As of 3:24 PM today, the National Weather Service is tracking a strong thunderstorm northeast of Taylorsville, moving at 20 mph.

🌬️ Hazards:
• Wind gusts up to 40 mph
• Pea-sized hail
• Torrential rainfall with potential for localized flooding

📍 Areas that may be impacted:
Taylorsville, Love Valley, Vashti, and Union Grove

💡 Safety Tips:
Secure outdoor items, stay indoors if possible, and never drive through flooded roads. Turn around, don’t drown.

💧 NC’s pool law has changed — but our mission hasn’t.

Some short-term rental pools are now exempt from permit requirements, but all public and semi-public pools in Iredell County are still inspected and regulated to protect your health and safety.

From hotels to apartment complexes, fitness centers to schools — we’re still watching the water.

🚐 Mobile Health Clinic Update:

Like any vehicle that goes the extra mile, our Mobile Health Unit needs routine maintenance to keep running strong.

We’re regretfully canceling our clinic at Mitchell Community College’s Statesville Campus on Wednesday, July 17, to ensure your care remains safe and uninterrupted in the long run. We apologize for any inconvenience.

In the meantime, services are still available at the Statesville and Mooresville Iredell County Health Department locations.

⚠️ Special Weather Statement – July 16, 5:49 PM

The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a weather alert for Iredell and Rowan counties.

As of 5:49 PM, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mooresville, about 11 miles south of Statesville. The storm is moving northeast at 20 mph.

Potential Hazards:
• Wind gusts up to 40 mph
• Half-inch hail
• Torrential rainfall leading to localized flooding

What to Expect:
• Winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured items.
• Minor hail damage to outdoor property is possible.
• Flooding may occur in low-lying areas. Do not drive through flooded roads.

Locations that may be affected include:
Statesville, Mooresville, Troutman, Cleveland, Lake Norman and Lake Norman State Park, Mount Ulla, the Piedmont Research Station, and Doolie.

As the temperatures rise, so does the risk of waterborne illnesses. Whether you're at the lake, pool, or on a hiking trip—take steps to protect yourself and your family.

📌 Quick Tips
✔️ Don’t swallow water while swimming
✔️ Stay out of the water if you’re sick
✔️ Shower and wash hands after swimming
✔️ Be cautious of untreated water sources
✔️ Monitor local health alerts

💧 Common causes include bacteria, viruses, and parasites from sewage runoff, poor sanitation, or heavy rain.

⚠️ Know the signs: fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, skin or ear issues. If you’re feeling unwell after swimming or being in natural water, contact your doctor.

* At 702 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles northeast
of Statesville, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
Statesville, Harmony, Love Valley, Turnersburg, Olin, Union Grove,
Scotts, and Cool Springs.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
