North Dakota Society of Health-System Pharmacists Our mission is to elevate health-system pharmacy practice and patient care throughout the region. It’s an exciting time to be a health-system pharmacist.

Throughout the state, pharmacists are dealing with a wide array of issues from drug shortages to provider status. This year we have successfully mobilized our educational and networking meetings. Teleconferencing has allowed pharmacists to collaborate and advocate for best practices throughout North Dakota. Members also have the ability to post topics and questions on the NDSHP forums within this website. Members that have subscribed to the forum receive one email update when new posts are added. We invite you to join the conversation! Click on the “events” tab or the “forums” tab, located on the top of this page. NDSHP looks forward to providing services that support health-system pharmacists in your pursuit of pharmacy practice excellence.

Announced Wednesday, NDSU and Dickinson State launch a pre-pharmacy pathway to train future pharmacists in western North Dakota.

NDSU and Concordia College have partnered to create a new pharmacy pathway, making it easier for students to pursue a career in pharmacy while staying close to home.

Beginning this fall, students can earn a Bachelor of Arts in Biosciences – Pharmacy Concentration at Concordia College, then transition to NDSU to complete both a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Doctor of Pharmacy.

We're excited to launch this shared effort to support students, strengthen the regional workforce, and meet growing needs in pharmacy.
