We’re proud to continue our partnership with the Humane Society of Charlotte by spotlighting pets in search of loving homes. This week, we’re thrilled to introduce two furry friends.
On the left, we have Locksley! Locksley is a sweet and gentle cat who's ready to find his forever home. He's lived peacefully with both cats and dogs, making him a great addition to a multi-pet household. Locksley loves attention and will happily lean in for head scratches, purring his appreciation.
On the right, we have Goose. This 5-year-old sweetheart is calm, low-energy, and looking for a quiet home where she can feel safe and loved. She previously lived with another dog, Duck, and has done well around other dogs in the past. Goose may be a little timid when meeting new people, but once she warms up, she's a gentle and affectionate companion. She tends to bark when she sees someone new but settles quickly once she's introduced. Because of her more sensitive nature, the Humane Society recommends a home with older kids who can respect her space as she gains confidence.
All adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis at the Humane Society of Charlotte Adoption Center, located at 1348 Parker Drive. No appointment is needed to meet your future furry friend! Hours: Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
