I remember riding a roller coaster as a child with a friend.
My friend became so tense and rigid from fear that afterward, he ended up injuring his arm.
I was afraid too.
But instead of tightening my body, I tried to completely relax into the movement.
Surprisingly, the experience felt far less overwhelming than I expected.
That experience stayed with me.
Sometimes suffering increases not only because of the challenge itself, but because of how much tension we carry while facing it.
โ
Want to overcome viruses, pain, and physical imbalance more effectively?
First, become still. ๐ฟ
When unnecessary tension softens and the mind becomes quieter, energy waste decreases, and the bodyโs regulatory systems begin to function more efficiently.
The nervous system settles.
Circulation improves.
The body gradually shifts from survival mode into recovery mode.
Sometimes suffering grows not only because of the situation itself, but because of how much tension we continue holding while facing it.
Stillness is not just a mental state.
It is a physiological environment that allows the body to begin healing and regulating again. ๐ฟ
Through Qigong and Tai Chi, we practice reconnecting with the body instead of fighting against it.
When the body stops fighting,
healing can begin. ๐ฟ
