The Pedal Posse is growing! Thank you to the 21 people who turned out on Saturday to laugh, sweat, and spin together - and to Supernus Pharmaceuticals for sponsoring this program!
A note from Dr Iyer (The Spin Doctor!):
"Come spin with me this Saturday in honor of my dear friend, Ryan Walsh, MD, PhD, who would have been 52 this weekend. Ryan was my college roommate, my premed partner-in-crime, and also pursued a career in Movement Disorders. He was a passionate clinician and researcher in the world of Parkinson's disease and always emphasized the importance of physical activity and exercise in slowing progression of disease.
Ryan passed away six months ago. I know he would've been excited about our Pedal Posse initiative, so please come join me to honor him together and outpace Mr. Parkinson."
Details and RSVP here:
This 30 minute class will be taught by Suzy Marshall, an MMC nurse and certified spin instructor. She's designed the class specifically for people living with Parkinson's and their care partners. This will be a fun, low-pressure class — no prior spin experience needed.
