Hello. You may have known my sweet dog Angel. After I lost her to kidney disease at such a young age (only 8!), I found some exciting classes to help give me something to get exited about and move forward. Some of you have experienced the new electro-stimulation treatments I learned. I have also been developing my intuitive gifts of "reading" energy, and I've found it's a beautiful complement to the acupuncture I love to practice.

 Science is still learning new things about the body. This was a discovery from 2018 that was made possible by newer medical equipment for endoscopies.  Instead of looking at dead tissue under microscope, an endoscope allows doctors to see living tissue. Observant doctors were able to discern a connective network that transports fluids and cells throughout the body just like Acupuncture meridians are in network through the body.

Acupuncture, as a branch of Chinese Medicine, incorporates emotions. They are integral to our mental and physical health.

Sometimes, the brain can perceive a particular emotion (such as anger or sadness) as a threat. When this happens, the emotion can become repressed. The more emotions that get repressed, the more they build and start to bubble up to the surface. ⠀

This can cause a danger alarm to go off in the brain, sending pain signals.⠀

This is why it can be helpful to practice the writing exercises in our app, designed to help you uncover and feel emotions that are under the surface. ⠀

Emotions are safe. Even the ones we label as “bad” or the ones we find very uncomfortable. By leaning into these emotions, the brain can learn that they are in fact safe, and stop sounding the alarm. ⠀

Acupuncture for Allergies, Sinus Pressure, and Facial Rejuvenation Day 30! I made me goal of making a video every day for 30 days! I reviewed how the treatments helped me. My allergies used to be debilitating and medications did not help. I could feel the changes with acupuncture. Symptoms have not totally gone away for me, but acupuncture helps me feel much better. Many people with mild or average allergy symptoms get much better much faster.

The first picture and video did not show the sagging as much as what I saw in the mirror and decided to do facial rejuvenation again. But when I reviewed the picture and video I saw how messy my hair was. I had take an elastic out of my hair that was keeping it out of my way for work, but needed to brush my hair after. Guess I was distracted by my face! Muscle tone on my face has improved greatly and move with much more ease when I smile, talk, eat, sneeze, etc.! Color in my face much better as I have better circulation. Lines are are becoming much more superficial. I used acupuncture needles with a handheld stimulation device that stimulates muscles to contract and relax as if they are pumping iron at the gym to improve the muscle tone. AcuLife Roller device is a roller with tiny needles that stimulate new growth of skin cells and collagen. Cupping the with lavender hydrosol, rose essential oil and frankincense essential helps smooth the face, move fluides and improve circulation and really massage the healing oils into the skin. And my hair is much better!

I said it was a rainy day all day, but it was actually just cloudy and humid all day with some rain. Not great for sinuses, but great for skin!
