Starts next week. Prenatal Yoga Class at Ashtanga Yoga Charlottesville Mondays - Thursdays @ 10:15 - 11:30 either in-person (class size limited to 6 people) or online. Must register in advanced at www.ashtangacharlottesville.com Class cards are 12 classes for $100 good for 60 days or $15 drop-in. Covid rules: must bring your own yoga mat, every student much arrive freshly showered, students must wear masks at all times except on your yoga mat, students are excepted to wash hands as soon as they enter the building, studio windows must remain open and fans & ventilation system circulating. Floors are sanitized after every class. Teacher will wear a mask and shield the entire time. Spaces are taped out on the floor so that all students remain 10 feet apart.

This is one of the most genuine accounts of birth, midwifery care, and homebirth. There is also a great thought as to what need to psychologically happen to transition into a larger family.

This week is Black Maternal Health Week. Black birthing people are dying at an alarmingly higher rate than birthing people. This hold true across education and economic status. Pay note in the video who this mother, this family, felt about their care. If each care provider can provide this level of care, the mortality numbers would be slashed. Midwife goals.

Birth Circle is this Wednesday night! 6-8pm at the Ivy Yoga School. Babies are welcome. Doulas and birth professionals are welcome to come listen. Pregnant women are welcome to come listen and speak their thoughts and worries. Mama's bring your stories! We are hear to listen and support you.
