🕯️ “Grief is simply love holding its breath.” — Andrea Gibson
As Colorado's beloved poet laureate Andrea Gibson passes on, many of us are reflecting on the grief, tenderness, and resistance their work gave voice to.
This week, Divergent Path Wellness intern Sarah Lawson shares a beautiful blog post titled “Allowing Space for Grief,” honoring Gibson’s legacy while exploring the quiet, necessary work of making room for our own losses—personal and collective.

As Sarah’s internship with us comes to a close, we’re so excited to share that we anticipate welcoming them to the team as a full-time therapist this fall, once credentialed as a supervisee in social work.
Sarah brings a deep commitment to gender-based violence work, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and trauma-informed, neurodivergent-friendly therapy.
They are currently open to consultations for their waitlist, and we’re so lucky to continue learning and growing with them.
