If you've run into me at any markets lately, you've probably heard me talk about my dream trip to Australia to research my next Doofy Birds book. I am very close to purchasing the plane tickets for a month-long trip in September of 2024, with plans to visit Sydney, Daintree Rainforest, the Gold Coast, and the north island of New Zealand.

For this year's project, I enlisted the help of my Patreon supporters and Instagram followers to choose a number of the birds featured. Thanks to y'all, the Blue-footed B***y, the Kiwi, the Potoo, and the Long-wattled Umbrellabird made the cut.

By the time August rolls around, our intentions for the year may feel distant or shadowy. A lot has happened since January, and more will come as the festive season approaches.

Local artists and coaches Lee McCraw-Leavitt and Dana Wheeles created this workshop to help you tune into the intentions you would like to hold through the rest of the year, allowing you to say "yes" to only the things that are in alignment with your values and deepest (essential, undeniable, irrepressible) desires.

This 2 1/2 hour mini-retreat will offer oracle card readings and playful creativity in the community with others looking to re-calibrate and refresh their purpose for the year. Those who arrive with a soul needing nourishment will leave with their unique map for the rest of 2023.
