As family practice physicians, we are the primary care provider for patients throughout their lives, from newborns through seniors. With our extensive training and experience, the services we can provide to you and your family include:

Referral Network
Should we determine that your treatment requires additional health care services, we have an extensive network of specialists to which we can refer you. We schedule all appointments and support you as your primary care contact throughout the referral process. Laboratory Services
For the convienience of our patients we offer in office laboratory services. Our laboratory services are CLIA certified and performed by certified professionals. Billing Services
Our staff is ready to help you with any questions you have regarding your insurance. We accept most major insurance providers; if we do not accept your provider, we will work with you to explore all payment options, including a payment plan. Please bring current insurance ID cards to each appointment. For your convenience, our offices accept cash, checks, Visa, and MasterCard.

Dr. Sanusi was born in Surabaya, Indonesia. His parents emigrated to the United States in 1970. He grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended Vanderbilt University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He went to medical school at UVA, graduating in 1989. He then completed his residency training in the Department of Family Medicine at UVA.

Dr. Sanusi lives in Albemarle County with his wife, Martha, and their five children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, camping, photography, cheering on any number of Cavalier sports teams, and playing rousing games of Scattergories with his family.

Professionally, Dr. Sanusi enjoys caring for entire families with an emphasis on minor surgeries, pediatrics, preventative care, and sports medicine.
