The Yellow Door Foundation understands that when a child is diagnosed with cancer, or needs an organ transplant, the entire family must shift away from the life they know in order to seek out the best treatments possible. oor provides fully-equipped individual apartments, FREE of charge, for the duration of the child’s treatment. We become their home away from home,
in the best environment possible to ensure positive outcomes. Families stay with us an average of 71 days, over 100 days for cancer families. Affording alternate lodging for that length of time is not feasible for the majority of families. Thanks to support from our community and beyond, Yellow Door is able to relieve that financial burden, while providing hope and healing for patients, siblings, parents and grandparents during the toughest times of their lives.
