UVA Sheila C. Johnson Center for Clinical Services The SJC collaborates with individuals across the lifespan to design clinical and educational solutions tailored to their needs. The Sheila C.

The SJC specializes in evidence-based treatment for psychological and educational concerns, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, speech-language therapy, psychological assessment, autism spectrum services, and reading intervention. Our facilities include state-of-the-art technology, 14 treatment rooms for intervention and assessment, a children’s play area, and convenient visitor parking. Our e

xperienced, multi-disciplinary team specializes in speech and language development; cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety, depression, and behavior problems; comprehensive assessment for psychological and educational concerns; reading intervention; audiology services; and interventions for autism spectrum disorder. Johnson Center also allows UVA graduate students to gain clinical experience under faculty supervision. We are committed to serving the Charlottesville-Albemarle community and clients from surrounding counties.
