Sacred Plant Traditions is a center for herbal studies whose classes are geared for the absolute beginner to the licensed practitioner looking to deepen their relationship with the plant world. We teach our community about plants as foods, medicines and allies in our evolutionary process. We believe in the integrity and intelligence of whole plant foods as vs. extracting bits and pieces from the G

aian equation of health, beauty and wholeness. Finally, and most importantly, we honor and strive to teach, remember and deepen the connection that makes all life sacred. We are excited to live in Charlottesville, VA with a plethora of local farmers, growers and suppliers of right livelihoods.

Happy Birthday to our favorite southern Va herb farmer and gentlest of men. Teresa and I headed down in magnificent fall colors to celebrate another circle round the earth for Robbie Wooding. He taught so many of my students the magic and ways of American Ginseng, we just had to gift him Shay Clanton’s watercolor from United Plant Savers artist in residence project.
