El pasado viernes 20 de febrero dimos inicio al segundo año del proyecto “Formación de Facilitadores sobre la Implementación de la Metodología Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos -ABP-” en .
10 docentes de nivel primario y medio continuan este proceso con el compromiso de transformar sus aulas a través del ABP, una metodología que permite que las y los estudiantes aprendan resolviendo problemas reales, trabajen en equipo, investiguen y construyan su propio aprendizaje con resultados creados por ellos mismos.
Este año, los docentes participarán en talleres de formación y pondrán en marcha proyectos educativos que beneficiarán a 360 estudiantes, convirtiéndolos en protagonistas de su aprendizaje.
Agradecemos a la Huehuetenango y a la Dirección Departamental de Educación por respaldar estas iniciativas a favor de la niñez y juventud.

On February 20, we launched the second year of the project “Training Facilitators on the Implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PBL) Methodology” in San Mateo Ixtatán.
Ten elementary and middle level teachers have joined this process with the commitment to transform their classrooms through PBL, a methodology that allows students to learn by solving real-world problems, working collaboratively, conducting research, and building their own knowledge through outcomes they create themselves.
This year, teachers will participate in training workshops and implement educational projects that will benefit 360 students in the town, empowering them to become active protagonists in their own learning.
We extend our gratitude to the SMI Huehuetenango District Coordination and the Ministry of Education for supporting these initiatives in favor of children and youth.
