Arura Medicine of Tibet Arura Medicine of TIbet, Charlottesville

Arura Medicine of Tibet aims to establish in central Virginia a complete Tibetan Medicine Center, connecting top Tibetan doctors and professors of Tibetan Medicine with Western scholars in the fields of medicine, nursing, and public health, to create opportunities for Tibetans and Americans to preserve and engage with Tibetan knowledge and expand access to Tibetan Medicine wellness care. Working with co-founders from the Arura Group, the Center will provide rigorous training in the theory and practice of Tibetan Medicine, under the instruction of professors of Tibetan Medicine from Tso-Ngon Tibetan Medical College and associated facilities. In the future, the Tibetan Medicine Center will expand to include a wellness home for elders built on the principles of compassionate care in Tibetan Medicine, a Tibetan Medicine Library, and further facilities to preserve and provide education in fields related to Tibet’s cultural and medical heritage.
