From 6:30 in the morning yesterday, until this morning around 3AM (when baby arrived).. for the first time since completing doula training with Thérèse Hak-Kuhn (and a big group of lovely ladies) I supported a woman through her labor. All I feel like saying right now is that it was intense, beautiful and extremely satisfying to be there for her. Arrived back home this morning around 5 and happily collapsed into bed :-)
