Charlottesville Family Counseling Using the Scriptures as framework, Larry has counseled individuals and married couples in Washington, DC, and central Virginia since 1985.

During that time, he has served as the director of counseling and seminar development of Christian Family Life, co-authored a daily devotional entitled Time Out, and also established the admissions and counseling system for a Christian-based residential program for adolescent boys started by Joe Gibbs in Northern Virginia. Formerly on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ for ten years, Larry spent three of those years working as a vocational missionary in Swaziland, southern Africa. He received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University in 1974 and a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from George Mason University in 1985. An ordained minister, Larry and his wife Norma have four sons, two of whom are married, with ten grandchildren. They live on a farm in central Virginia where they raise llamas, goats, and chickens.
