🏳️‍🌈 Discover, reflect, and connect as we explore the stories of the past with Q***r History Club, a welcoming space to celebrate the diverse tapestry of q***r history from around the world.

Together we’ll discuss significant moments, figures, and movements, through podcasts, book chapters, documentaries, and more, creating a rich and accessible way to learn and share. This group meets every other Tuesday from 6–7:30 pm at The Women’s Initiative, offering a space for conversation, reflection, and community connection.

Open to LGBTQ+ individuals 18+ of all backgrounds and knowledge levels. Led by Alethea Burns and Robin Brown.

Wind down with your sisters at Sister Circle Yoga & Meditation, a gentle, restorative mid-week practice created for BIPOC individuals to reconnect with body, breath, and community. Each session blends yoga, meditation, and breathwork to help you reset and recharge.

This fall, join us on select Wednesdays, October 15, November 5 & 19, and December 3, from 6:30–7:30 pm for a warm and welcoming space to slow down and breathe together. 🧘🏾‍♀️

Exploraremos el poder curativo del arte utilizando tela y costura para crear una representación de tu historia y tus varios hogares. No necesitas tener conocimientos ni experiencia previa en estas técnicas, nosotras ofreceremos los fundamentos básicos de la costura.

Dance is healing. Dance is joy. Dance is community. 🌸

Every Tuesday from 6:30-7:30pm at McGuffey Art Center, join us and Chihamba for West African Dance, a fun and energetic class open to women and children who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). Led by Lillie Williams, this class blends rhythm, movement, and the stories of African dance traditions, while building connection with self, community, and ancestry.

Step outside, breathe deeply, and join us for Monthly Nature Walks with TWI! 🌳

Beginning October 5, we’ll gather on the first Sunday of each month from 3–4:30 pm to explore beginner-friendly trails, connect with nature, and enjoy gentle movement together.

Registered participants will receive each month’s trail location two weeks in advance. Children are welcome with a supervising adult. 💜

Need a reset? Join the community for Revive & Thrive: A Holistic Wellness Experience, a three-day event designed to help you recharge mind, body, and spirit.

On September 16–18 from 12-4pm, the Jefferson School City Center will host workshops on self-care, mental health, and financial wellness, along with energizing sessions like boxing, group runs, and line dancing.

Come nourish yourself, connect with community, and find your mid-week reset. Bring a friend or family member; all are welcome!
