This year we teamed up with to help local families with their kids’ Christmas wishes. There has been an annual tradition of gifting to those in need since Ivy Dental opened 9 years ago and one the whole team looks forward. Tis the season to spread the love!

Happy Earth Day!!! Aside from a little room for us to spread out and an improved parking situation the new office had to be centrally located so that I and others who desire could walk or bike to the office! I’ve had so many patients tell me this will be closer for them and they can walk there from work or home 😍. Hope everyone celebrated this beautiful planet today by showing it a little ❤️today ( and ever day 🌎)

RAM. If you have never heard of RAM I highly encourage you to look it up. I started with RAM (Rural Area Medical) in 2008 while still in dental school. I remember my first experience I assisted an oral surgeon and we took out 50 teeth before lunch that day. Providing medical and dental services to those who otherwise have no access to care opens one’s eyes to the hardships some face that we so often don’t see. I’m thankful I have a skill set that I can donate to help get people out of pain. Yesterday I worked with a current and former UVA student. One who switched from a medical path to dental after experiencing this and one with her applications pending to dental programs. So proud of these young dentists to be putting this amazing event together for the people of Central VA.
