After experiencing a fall at home, Mr. Cheek was admitted to Chase City Health & Rehab Center with significant mobility challenges. Upon arrival, he was unable to get in or out of bed, stand, walk, or perform basic daily activities without assistance.
During the first few weeks of his stay, he required extensive support with all tasks. With determination and daily participation in both Physical and Occupational Therapy, Mr. Cheek worked toward his goal of walking again with the help of his rollator. His therapy plan included targeted strengthening exercises, balance training, gait training, and activities of daily living to support his progress.
