Happy SPRING!!
Time to clean up the dead foliage on perennials. To make room for the fresh growth and the promise of more flowers. Small wonder that Summer is a gardener’s favorite season. Before jumping into Spring clean up of gardens, be sure to warm up first and stretch.
I suggest gluteal, hamstring, cat and camel stretches. Use a kneeling pad or small bench to get closer to ground and limit excess bending. And don’t forget the sunscreen this weekend!!

Hello Friends! Sugar Creek is hiring a chiropractic assistant! We are looking for a VERY flexible person, perhaps an active retiree or a stay-at-home mom interested in dipping her toe back in the water... We have a wonderful team, but we have a travel bug here, so we need to find someone to help out when she's exploring the world. This could mean you'd work one day a week when she's here or up to three days per week if she's not. It will vary all the time, so if you are looking for consistency and the same schedule every week, this might not be for you. If you are flexible, and happy to pitch in here and there depending on the week, and want to work in an energetic environment, then this could be perfect for you. The duties would involve patient care including answering calls, scheduling appointments, taking payments and administering therapies. With so many of us needing to go gluten free, and all of us liking cookies, may we present the office's favorite Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies with Almond Flour!

Ingredients:
2.5 c almond flour
1 c light brown sugar
1 c chopped toasted pecans
1 c semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 c melted coconut oil
1 egg
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract

Instuctions

Step 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 2 baking sheets
Step 2 Combine almond flour, brown sugar, pecans, chocolate chips, baking soda, and salt in a larg bowl. Add oil, egg, and vanilla extract; mix with a spoon until a large ball of dough forms.
Step 3 Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Space balls 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheets (Dr. Carrie has also made these in a square pan to make bars and it works really well!)
Step4 4 Bake in the preheated oven until edges are firm and lightly golden; about 11 minutes.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 11 minutes
Servings: 32 cookies
