I have had a wonderful time on this Morocco trip with my college friend Kyrie (front right), AND completely unexpected was the deep heart and soul connection with my two new Egyptian friends, Aya and Noran. I innocently asked Aya to teach me how to write the Arabic alphabet, and before long, we three found ourselves deep in passionate discussion of Jewish-Arab/Muslim issues and our shared hopes and dreams for both our peoples. I have longed for connection of this sort with my ancestral cousins and feel incredibly grateful.💜

Another incredible day! Spectacular Tierra Del Sol permaculture center not far from Oaxaca city. Magical afternoon spent touring the land, eating a delicious home cooked meal, getting toes nibbled by fish in the pond; and THEN spending a few hours with wisdom keeper Raquel, who treated us to a cacao ceremony with beans from her ranch, ancient Tolec birthdate readings, and a full body and aura cleansing with fresh herbs from her garden. We are all feeling so 💜full.
