Very exciting week for us at Academy Dental Care, P.A. We would like to welcome Dr. Heather Kobos to our dental family!

Dr. Ella Shuster, a Chatham Resident, and Dr. Heather Kobos, both Westfield natives, have finally decided to join together.

As many of you may already know, our office is working to resume its functions. But I want to tell you about some of the changes that we have made to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

-Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You'll be asked to sign a form with the same health questions and email them back to us prior to your appointment.

-We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when entering the office.

-We ask that you wait in your car and call or text us to check in.

-You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

-We ask that you wear a mask when you come into our office. We also ask that you limit the amount of people entering the office to only those that have an appointment.

-You will see sneeze guards at our reception desk, front desk staff wearing personal protective equipment.

We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.

One important thing that hasn’t changed is that we we are still a community working together and supporting each other to be safe and healthy. Looking forward to seeing you all.
