- Wellness-focused programming led by yoga instructor and wellness leader Shereen Bernaz
- Music throughout the evening
- Mental health resource tables from organizations across our region

6 days until Paint the Town Green officially launches.

On May 1, 14 New Jersey towns across Union, Morris, and Essex Counties will unite for Mental Health Awareness Month with a single mission: breaking down barriers to mental health.

WHAT’S HAPPENING:

Throughout May, our communities will transform with green ribbons, painted windows, yard signs, and events focused on mental health awareness and support.

Coalition Kickoff Event: May 1, 5-7pm, Summit Village Green
All are welcome to join us as we officially launch the campaign with remarks from Summit Mayor Elizabeth Fagan and Coalition Chair Debbie Merrick, plus food trucks, music, and community resources.

GREEN ACROSS OUR TOWNS:
- Green ribbons on light poles
- Painted storefront windows with messages of hope
- Yard signs in neighborhoods
- Community events throughout May

WHY IT MATTERS:

1 in 5 people experience mental illness each year. Paint the Town Green is about showing our communities that mental health matters, support is available, and no one is alone in their struggles.
