Happy New Year from TLC. Last year was another incredible year for us. We successfully relocated a record number of clients, emptied, listed and sold their houses. This year already sees us incredibly busy in Jan and Feb. We have a lot to be thankful for. Anne and I have a great friendship as well as a partnership, we have a fantastic team and we love our business. This year will see TLC Senior Relocation 10 years in business. Bring on 2024 we are ready for you!

Testimonial for TLC Senior Relocation Specialists​​12/10/21

TLC Senior Relocation Specialists truly are the Mary Poppins duo! Our stepmother was in hospital/rehab for 10 weeks straight this year, and we needed to empty her and our father’s house in 3 months. But an insurmountable COVID hurdle loomed: how would we get our stepsister who lives in the U.K. over here to the States to be with her mother? We heard it could take weeks to get permission to travel. Have no fear! TLC was here! Anne & Doreen, both from England, immediately got in contact with Doreen’s daughter who talked our stepsister through every step to get here. With many prayers and this vital help, permission was granted –within 48 hours! The first hurdle was conquered.
The second hurdle was our dear father and stepmother had not downsized in the past 30 years. TLC zoomed us into our next focus: get rid of paper. That was quite a process, but again, this next hurdle was accomplished.
The third hurdle through a different realtor was the volatility of the housing market and multiple bids and multiple withdrawals. TLC flexed with our needs, packed up what we could not, and long story short, got our folks into their new retirement home in 3-1/2 months. And yes, they made our folks’ bed with fresh sheets. And yes, they placed precious items beautifully around the apartment. When we walked in, it looked like home!
Throughout this challenging time, as pressures tugged and mounted, we found ourselves saying over and over, “Well, Anne & Doreen can handle this” or “TLC will cover that” since all three of us were hundreds if not thousands of miles away. What a pressure valve that was for us – knowing Anne & Doreen were there. That they cared, that they were professional & efficient. But the person who really capped this entire experience was our 89-year-old father who said, “If everyone worked as well as TLC, I wouldn’t feel half as crazy as I do now!” They make everything easy!
TLC brings calm to the storm. They live up to their name: Tender Loving Care.
