Congratulations to Dr. McKenzie Donald! Today Dr. Donald graduated, with honors, from The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program🐘

Dr. McKenzie Donald was presented with the William W. Winternitz Award in Geriatrics, the Sandral Hullett Award for Rural Health and the award for Outstanding and Impactful Service in Pediatrics. Dr. Donald was also recognized as a Rural Medical Scholar.

We’re painting the county PURPLE today in honor of Alzheimer’s and Dementia Awareness Month💜 Our staff wore their purple attire, and our future physician, Dr. McKenzie Donald, spoke at Washington County Hospital & Nursing Home’s Legendary Ladies event! She provided information to help us better understand this disease and how to care for our loved ones that may suffer from it.
